Great Horned Owl

I saw a pair of Great Horned Owls this morning at Spring Canyon, the first I’ve seen since last spring. They were in a tree at the bottom of the hill as you enter the canyon. There have been other sightings this year by other birders in different areas of the lake, and I’m sure they are not nearly as rare as my sightings, but they are very difficult to spot as you can see by the last photo.Great Horned Owl (6) (1024x689) Great Horned Owl (57) (1024x684) Great Horned Owl (60) (1024x730) Great Horned Owl (63) (1024x711)
