Swainson’s Hawks

There are so many Swainson’s Hawks in the area right now that I have trouble keeping up with my count when I go out. I’m pretty sure I counted at least 21 this morning around the fields and playas north of Panhandle. There were mostly juveniles, but a few adults as well. It was like they were posing for class pictures.
