Egrets

In addition to the nesting Clark’s Grebes that I was so excited to see last week while kayaking there was a colony of Cattle Egrets and Snowy Egrets in some salt cedars on the southern shore between Harbor Bay and Alabates.  These birds are pretty common around the panhandle, but that doesn’t detract from their beauty.
